John was born and raised in Spokane. He has been married almost 50 years to his high school sweetheart and they have four children and four grandchildren. John obtained his Bachelor of Marketing Management from Eastern Washington University in 1973. Following a fifteen year stint of upper management for a local firm, John has had his own practice in the insurance field for about 27 years starting in 1990. He has been an independent broker the entire time and has obviously seen changes in our industry.

John has been involved in a number of community activities including board member and Chairman of the Board of Northland Credit Union for a number of years. He is current President of Spokane Association of Health Underwriters. John also serves as Chairman of Team St. Luke’s Annual Golf Tournament. He and his wife have been involved with World Relief supporting legal immigrants from Serbia, Croatia, and Iran. John received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from EWU in 1973, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies of Christian Leadership in 2016.
